D'après Malt Madness "Kininvie really wasn't a proper distillery to begin with. The picture shows the entire Kininvie 'distillery' - nothing more than a still house at the back of the Balvenie distillery. One full lauter mash tun and ten washbacks at Balvenie were used for the Kininvie and Hazelwood malt whiskies."

Nez : beaucoup de miel, vanille, fruits jaunes, et même une petite pointe de fruits exotiques (fruits de la passion ?) après quelques minutes d'aération.

Bouche : très douce, miel, vanille, céréales, abricot, pêche, facile à boire, mais un peu simple.

Finale : longueur moyenne, un peu épicée (poivrée ?), céréales.

Note : 84/100. Un whisky agréable, dans la lignée de certains Balvenie ou du Monkey Shoulder, malheureusement trop rare. (Noté 81 par Ruben).
